Concert: Tim Brady solo, including “24 Frames”

Solo guitar + video technican (for video concerts)

Equipment:

High quality stereo PA system with a minimum of one (ideally two) monitor speakers

Main mixer: 6 inputs, stereo out, with (ideally 2) monitor send(s)

2 microphones and stands + 2 DI boxes

2 professional metal music stands

CD player for audio playback (for audio only concerts)

If concert is outside of Montreal travel area – rental of guitar amplifier

Preferred amplifier: Fender Deluxe Reverb or Fender Blues Deluxe (1 X 12” speaker, under 50 watts)

Concert: Bradyworks - My 20th Century

5 musicians + sound + video technicians

Equipment:

7’ or 9’ grand piano, with piano bench

8 professional metal music stands with stand lights (we can provide stand lights, if necessary)

High quality stereo PA system with a minimum of one (ideally two) monitor speakers

Main Mixer: 12 in, stereo out with at least 1 (ideally two) monitor sends

Small 4 X 2 mixer and 2 monitor speakers (for sampler playback on stage)

8 high quality microphones for instruments (2 – piano, 4 – percussion, 1 – saxophone, 1 - guitar)

2 DI boxes (sampler)

VOICES: Depending on size of hall – 2 lavalier mics for voice (wireless)

Microphones and wireless systems are generally provided by Bradyworks, unless otherwise specified

In smaller halls (under 100) voice amplification is not necessary.

If concert is outside of Montreal travel area – rental of guitar amplifier

Preferred amplifier: Fender Deluxe Reverb or Fender Blues Deluxe (1 X 12” speaker, under 50 watts)

If concert is outside of Montreal travel area – percussion rental

Vibraphone, marimba (low A), bass drum, 3 metal plates on racks, 2 cymbals on stands, glockenspiel

VIDEO: projector (minimum 2500 lumens – SVHS input) and screen

Concert: Bradyworks – Three Cities in the Life of Dr. Norman Bethune

8 musicians + conductor + singer + sound + video + lighting technicians

Equipment:

7’ or 9’ grand piano, with piano bench

12 professional metal music stands with stand lights (we can provide lights, if necessary)

High quality stereo PA system with a minimum of one (ideally two) monitor speakers

Main Mixer/Processing: 16 inputs, stereo out with at least two monitor sends, digital reverb, 2 stereo compressors, graphic EQ

Headphones on stage right for conductor (independent mix)

13 high quality microphones for instruments (2 – piano, 4 – percussion, 1 – saxophone, 1 – guitar, 4 – strings, 1 – voice mic (wireless headset) Microphones and wireless systems are generally provided by Bradyworks, unless otherwise specified

If concert is outside of Montreal travel area – percussion rental

CD audio player (for tape music playback)

VIDEO: projector (minimum 2500 lumens – SVHS input) and screen (placed centre stage, above ensemble)

LIGHTING – to be discussed with Bradyworks lighting designer

STAGE: Small wooden table, old typewriter, old wooden chair, lantern, wooden crate (hall dependant – to be discussed)

Concert: SOUND OFF

110 music stands in a public space + 2 conductor’s podiums

Concert: 20 Quartet Inch Jacks

20 small guitar amplifiers, 21 professional metal music stands and microphones for voice amplification (depending on size of hall)
